This is a sober reminder that if you have the means and a hear t in the r ight place you are bound to reach out to this under pr ivileged Adivasis t r ibe scat tered in the w ilderness of our rural areas. I s only the Government responsible for this?

We at AMI believe that changes in the lives of such families w ill come only when more and more pr ivileged people w ith a desire to br ing about these changes star t part icipat ing proact ively by finding solut ions for them. With this convict ion, a group of AMI corporate professionals headed by Mr Manoj Divecha, G.M.Commercial,w ho conceptualised the Idea of reaching out to War lis or Var lis a I ndian Scheduled Tr ibe w ho are famous for their ar t . These indigenous people live in a small village of Kur lod,Taluka of Mokhada, Thane Dist r ict , Maharasht ra, that is Located 1 8 5 KMS from Kalyan. On 1 0 th October 2 0 0 9 , this AMI Team executed a plan to br ing happiness and illuminat ion on this fest ive occasion of Diw ali by personally giving 1 4 9 families one months Rat ions, Sarees and other essent ial items along w ith Diw ali sw eets.
